Located in a town filled with charm and rich in character, Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is an acute care hospital and 21 clinics serving communities from the Mendocino coast to Lake County.
In addition to standard acute services, Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has a level IV trauma center, maternity and level II intensive care nursery services, an extensive physical rehabilitation program, outpatient surgery and diagnostic center and an advanced wound care center.
Its network of clinics include primary care and specialty care, from internal medicine, gastroenterology and urology to otolaryngology.

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Decision Support Analyst who:
Assesses data needs within organization, assists personnel in defining data needs and creates tools to assist in meeting identified needs.
Retrieves and analyzes data, assumes responsibility for data base development, and generates reports for end-users.
Essential Functions:
Discusses data acquisition needs with requestor to ensure efficient retrieval.
Communicates turn-around-time to requestor.
Plans data acquisition process to minimize personal and system time.
Utilizes best-source for data acquisition.
Designs or facilitates the design of data collection tools.
Summarizes key points of data analysis on assigned reports to optimize efficient data use.
Applies statistical analysis to assigned reports including statistical significance of deviations and trends.
Provides key talking points including explanations to requestor for presentation purposes.
Identifies possible opportunities to increase revenue, reduce expense or improve organizational performance.
Promotes the use of data driven decision-making at all levels in the organization.
Ensures accuracy of data prior to dissemination.
Completes all regularly scheduled quality control checks on assigned areas of responsibility.
Submits results of quality audits including accuracy, reliability, accessibility, and timeliness.
Ensures new development or changes to data elements, standards, etc.
are executed using a rigorous method for development and validation.
Ensures any system or data element changes are documented and approved according to established procedures.
Ensures a balance between data access and confidentiality are maintained.
Ensures standard reports are generated according to established formats.
Generates ad hoc requests for reports within quoted turn-around-time.
Coordinates the development of new reports based on identified needs.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
